What is Fortec?
Extensive foraging grain research and studies of rodent behaviour have established the key factors responsible for the greater appeal of foods containing them. This led us to the development of a patented technology - Fortec - which significantly improves rodenticide consumption by making the most of foraging grains to produce a more appealing and arresting mixed bait. The key to this technology lies in making the added grains sufficiently different from the bulk of the bait in size, shape, colour, smell, taste and texture. Important too is the level at which the grains are included in the bait and the subtlety of their flavour. While traditional baits of a uniform consistency rely upon the manipulation of taste and smell to stimulate consumption, the new technology works by appealing more completely to all the rodent senses involved in natural feeding behaviour.

How to use
When signs of rats are seen, survey your premises inside and out to determine the extent and location of the infestation.
- Check for runs along walls and in vegetation around buildings
- Check for rat holes, especially near water, up to 100m away.
- Check inside buildings for damage and droppings
- Check for tracks in dust and mud
Rats: Place 100-200g of bait in many dry locations within the infested area, near burrows, on runways & where droppings are seen. Outdoors, bait should be covered to prevent access by children, animals & birds. Use covers constructed from drainpipes, open-ended boxes, or sheets of metal or wood, secured at an angle against a wall.
Mice: Place 20-30g of bait at many points 1-2 metres apart where there are signs of activity such as droppings, gnawing or tracks. Protect baits as indicated. Inspect baits frequently, replacing eaten bait. If a bait point is completely consumed, increase the quantity & replenish until bait is left untouched.
